		<description>Teflon is unnecessary, plus it makes meat rather unpalatable because you can never brown anything properly with a teflon pan.

		<description>Yes, it has been determined that Teflon coating is poisonous and can cause cancer. The hotter the temperature setting required for cooking, the higher you are at risk. High temperatures cause the Teflon to release poison, although it is not considered to be bad by the people that sell the stuff, but I would buy stainless steel pans and coat them with oil.
