The cooking pans are either aluminum or stainless steel – - I'm not sure which. Is it okay to use them for cooking stuff in the oven?
I appreciate your answers and can see that maybe they can't take the higher temps of the oven. I read the information booklet, and it says nothing about using them in the oven. If no one knows a definitive answer, where besides the GE site can I look for the answer to this question? Thanks for the help.

I don't believe they were made to take high oven temperatures. They were just made to keep things warm.
