I also have issues with the bottom of my pans being clean, shiny. I have copper bottom pans I use daily and what works better than anything I have ever used is cameo, better than barkeepers for really tuff spots use a sos and cameo. It is usually about a dallor and has been around for years, you'll have happy pans
